You’ll need to chart 3 consecutive menstrual cycles before you attempt sex-selection. Put on your lab coat and your scientist glasses, and get ready to record your cycle data in the back of the ebook, or on this website (coming soon).
If you have had a baby within the last 6 months, or if you have just stopped breastfeeding, chart 3 extra cycles (6 cycles total) before you begin your sex-selection attempt. I know that sounds like a long time to wait before you try to conceive, but your hormones are going through intense changes during the months following birth and weaning, and this could throw off your timing.
With the exception of condoms, you must discontinue all other forms of birth control when you begin charting your cycles. No pills, no patches, no IUDs–just condoms. Your body needs time to get itself back to its normal state, so give yourself a month or two after you discontinue your birth control, before you start charting. Birth control prevents ovulation. *The Babydust Method* relies on tracking ovulation indegenerique.be. It is absolutely essential that you are not on birth control during your charting cycles.
*Babydust to all*
